The steam valve and tap assembly was the correct product delivered on time and safely packaged.
It is straightforward to fit - with average DIY ability - but it must be remembered that the valve handles steam at high pressure.
Initial use of the coffee maker resulted in escape of hot water at the inlet to the steam valve; this was because an O-ring seal had not been fitted to the supplied item. The need for this seal should have been mentioned in the Product Information or Related Products tabs on the product web page. The required O-ring seal had to be salvaged from the old assembly, hoping that fitting a six-year-old seal has not compromised the longevity of the repair.
